SA: Man to appear in court over bikie murders

A man will appear in court later this week charged with the murder of three Rebels
motorcycle gang members last year.

Police arrested FAOUD CHAPTINI, aged 34, of no fixed address, in the northern Adelaide
suburb of Ferryden Park last night.

Mr CHAPTINI has been charged with three counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder.

During a brief appearance in the District Court, he was remanded to appear in the Adelaide
Magisrates Court on Friday.

The charges relate to the shooting murders of three Rebels members outside the gang's
Adelaide headquarters on October 8 last year.

GRAHAM NIXON, aged 33, and SINIBALDO PALOMBI, aged 35, died at the scene of the shooting
while 32-year-old HUBERT WESTERN died in hospital three days later.

Two other Rebels members were injured in the incident.

One man, whose name is suppressed, was charged with three counts of murder but the
charges were dropped in June because of a lack of evidence.

Police are still looking for another man wanted in connection with the shooting.
