Vic: Lawyer told me to send money offshore: Wheatley

MELBOURNE, Feb 25 AAP - A lawyer will stand trial for helping music promoter Glenn
Wheatley hide $400,000 from the tax office.
Magistrate Peter Couzens indicated he will commit the lawyer - whose name is suppressed
- on one count of tax fraud and rule on Thursday whether to commit the man on three further
counts.
The one tax fraud charge relates to the $400,000 Wheatley made out of promoting a boxing
match between then world champion Kostya Tszyu and American Jessie James Leija in Melbourne
in 2003.
