GLENVILLE - An elderly man fell asleep in front of his television Monday evening and awoke to find a stranger coming downstairs in his Riverside Place home. The man, in his 80s, chased the trespasser outside and across the street before giving up and calling police.
Officer Michael Lamb, responding to the call, saw a man matching the homeowner's description of the intruder on Larkin Street, about six blocks from the home. Lamb pulled over and arrested Samuel Rodriguez, 30, of Jay Street in Schenectady. …
